Sandra completed her professional training in Interior Design in Wiesbaden, Germany, but most of her work experience has been in organic farming, natural building, and various eco-friendly endeavours. She began painting as a teen, and more recently has begun to make her uplifting and colorful creations also available to the public. The wax-based Encaustic Paint that she uses brings a particular vibrance to her work, which has been described as "full of wholesome vibes, beyond what may be initially seen, but just as real - maybe more so". The paintings are often interpreted differently by different people, as each person taps into their own imagination and fantasy to complete the interpretation, thereby creating a very personal, unique and individual experience.
